Safari Issues

May 14, 2009 at 8:11 PM

I have CSS Friendly Adapters that render in a Master page. In all browsers the menu is visible and functioning. In Safari the menu does not appear, but when I click in the area that the menu should be it, goes to the page that is the last item in the menu. Has anyone run into issues like this? I added a safari.browser file to the application, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

App is currently .net 3.5 and I am developing in VS2008.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

I found this by snooping around. The only issue that this makes is that it stripps your styles.

Please paste below code in your page_load event of page or master page and then test it on mac safari. Its working fine.

 if (Request.UserAgent.IndexOf("AppleWebKit") > 0)
        {

            Request.Browser.Adapters.Clear();

        }
