CSSFriendly installation for dummies?

I'm a real newbie with MOSS/WSS/etc and would like to get really detailed instructions on how to take this adapter easily into use. The "just put .browser file in App_Browsers and .dll in bin" does not seem to have any effect.

I am using SharePoint:AspMenu currently as the menu in my master page (copied from the default master page of WSS). I have also tried adding new definition in the .browser file:

<adapter controlType="Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls.AspMenu" adapterType="CSSFriendly.MenuAdapter" />

I update the WSP to our server with command: stsadm -o upgradesolution -name My.First.Wsp.wsp -filename My.First.Wsp.wsp -local -allowcaspolicies -allowgacdeployment

  1. Where should I put the .browser and .dll inside my WSP file (full paths please)?
  2. Should I also edit some manifest/xml/whatever files (which ones and how)?
  3. Anything else a dummy like me should know?

Thanks already in advance!
